The project "Intergenerational Education for Social Inclusion - Learning solution" is necessary and important as demonstrated by the needs analysis. Thanks to it, key areas of the organization's activity have been identified that need improvement. These are the areas: Seniors - the need to expand the educational offer addressed to seniors in the field of intergenerational education. The problem is insufficient educational offer addressed to seniors in the area of intergenerational education. The need to engage in intergenerational education for all generations and thus open new areas of engagement of an educational, economic, cultural and spiritual character. It is necessary to update knowledge in a situation where Europe is changing in terms of demographic composition and faces challenges of intergenerational and intercultural solidarity.

The main goal of the project is to support the development of adult education staff in the area of education and intergenerational learning. The project implements the intention of intergenerational education, which seeks to establish formal and intentional communication activities between generations. Thanks to this, it is possible to derive mutual benefits and mutual enrichment.

Adequate project goals have been established:

1. Improving the competences of the organization's staff in the field of education and intergenerational learning.

2. Social inclusion of seniors through broadening the offer in the area of education and intergenerational learning.

The implementation of the project changed the situation by broadening the knowledge about creating an offer in the field of intergenerational education. There has been an improvement in the organization's activities in the field of innovative methods supporting intergenerational education. The applicant ensured good project management, which allowed for the high quality of the activities.

Two types of foreign mobility have been implemented.

1. Mobility - training at Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft, Leipzig, Germany. Topic: Intergenerational education and learning. Training organized for 8 participants.

2. Learning mobility - training at the Centro Internazionale delle Culture Ubuntu, Palermo, Italy. The training organized for 8 participants contributed to meeting the identified needs.

The participants of the project were the staff, adult educators - employees and volunteers of the Gaudete Foundation.

Training topics: Improving knowledge in the field of intergenerational education and learning, Getting to know new teaching methods and using tools in adult education, Expanding knowledge in the field of - Intergenerational mentoring, Intergenerational learning of active European citizenship, Preparation of educational initiatives based on intergenerational education.

The proposed activities were to meet the needs by acquiring new knowledge in the field of intergenerational learning and education. The training allowed for the development of staff competences. The trainings contributed to the establishment and development of cooperation between organizations from Italy, Germany and Poland through the joint implementation of the project. Experience acquired and acquired competences were included in the organization's development plan.
